Sujay - The Boy Next Door!

Sujay the name my parents gave me (it means sweet victory) and Ray the title I have inherited (don't know the meaning but you can comprehend it as "ray of light" or "ray of hope" etc.). Overall it's a package of all good things, but frankly I am not that good. There are lots of mischievous and notorious things inside me. My friends call me Suj, Suzy, Sam... the list goes on.

A simple heart and an isolated soul that's the way I describe myself.

I was born in the holy city of Allahabad also known as the Kumbha Nagari Prayag. I did my schooling from one of the biggest chain of schools i.e. Kendriya Vidyalaya commonly known as (KV). I moved on to Indore to complete my graduation in e- Commerce from IMS Indore, Devi Ahilya University. The Techno- Managerial knowledge helped me in my higher studies, and from Indore I came to Delhi to pursue my MBA from Birla Institute of Management Technology.

Since my schooling days I was very much involved into extra- curricular activities, which helped me shape up as an all-round performer. From sports to dance and debate to quiz I participated in every activity. During my college days I directed various skits, dance dramas etc. I also designed 2-3 websites on my own, but after joining MBA, It was more of a "Management Guy" than a "Techno Geek" inside me. In my college days I was associated with various management clubs and was a member of Centre for Corporate Relations of my Institute.

I left my hometown after 10+2 and mostly lived in hostels during my entire college life. It was a learning experience for me as I learned to manage my finances; also I got some great friends during that period. Though college life was more of fun but I faced numerous ups and down but the best thing was that I learned a lot from those instances.

Since my childhood Music was my soul and as I grew up I developed Biking as my passion. I am an adventurer to the core and love to travel a lot. With my friends I started a biking group called MOB-Masters On Bikes, we go on long trips to the remotest location on earth. When it comes to sports I am a Cricketer at heart, for me Saturday mornings without cricket matches is just unimaginable.

Post MBA I have worked with various top-notch companies, currently I am working with Bharti Airtel Ltd. as a Manager - Brand & Digital Engagement. As of now a lot of opportunities and challenges are in front of me and I am excited to face them and grab my dreams.

Godspeed 69 - The Biker Boy!

I was born in a family which neither had any racing heritage nor any fixation for two wheeled beauties. Ever since I was a five year old kid, bikes and cars constituted ninety percent of the toys I played with. By the time I was a teenager I already had my first set of two wheels, not a motorbike but a cycle. Didn’t remember when the touring bug bit me, may be it was during those early morning rides on my Hercules Top Gear to nearby hamlets at the time of summer vacations.

After my Xth boards I cajoled my elder sister to go for a Hero Puch Shakti 3G instead of a TVS Scooty which was actually her birthday gift. Then I cooked up some story and

she became scared of driving a geared bike; eventually I became the owner of the bike. From wheelies to burnouts and red light drags to off-roading on railway tracks I did every possible stunt on that punny bike.

Once I completed my education and got into a job, I bought a brand new Bajaj Discover 125 Dtsi with my first salary. Though some of those hooligan characteristics remained inside me but slowly I transformed into a sedate and responsible biker. With my friends I co-founded a biking club “MOB – Masters On Bikes”, as goes the old saying more the merrier, with each passing year not only the distance of our trips increased but also the number of members in the group grew.

Since year 2006 I have done many trips to different parts of India whether its tough terrains of Ladakh or the famed Mumbai-Pune expressway I have covered almost all possible terrains in India. Biking is like meditation to me and when I ride I feel closer to the God; it’s my way of expressing freedom. Lets Say Vroom…
